  • A more visually appealing look (with more photos!) so you don’t get overwhelmed just looking at the home page!
  • A more intuitive reorganized website that will allow you to more efficiently find the content you want
  • More ways to highlight school and student accomplishments and events
  • A list of “quick links” and visual clickable “icons” that will take you to the pages most visited on our sites
  • New and rewritten content that will help you navigate your student’s four years of high school
  • Consistent menu options and content across all school sites
  • “Portals” that will take you to all of the school tools you use in one place
  • Responsive design, meaning that you can easily view our website no matter using your home computer, phone or tablet

Bullying Prevention Month

Did you know that more than 1 out of every 5 students report being bullied?

It is statistics like these that make National Bullying Prevention Month, sponsored by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center, so important. This nationwide campaign was founded in 2006. The campaign is held during the month of October and unites communities around the world to educate and raise awareness of bullying prevention. Hundreds of schools, major corporations, and many celebrities have joined the movement. Take action and show that you care about kids being safe at school, while online, and in the community. The SMUHSD has strict policies about any type of bullying. We ask that you join the SMUHSD in recognizing this national issue and help us prevent the devastating effects of bullying, more information can be found HERE.
