KNOW FOUNDATION SKILLS AND INFORMATION. Students will be:
1. Effective students who can:
a. Speak effectively in one-on-one situations as well as in front of groups
b. Write clearly and effectively to communicate both facts and opinions in all subjects
c. Read and understand a variety of types of writing in both humanities and sciences
d. Calculate and problem-solve
e. Listen, comprehend, and follow directions independently
2. Lifelong learners who can:
a. Explore a variety of academic, athletic, artistic, and extracurricular areas
b. Understand key facts and concepts in each discipline they study
c. Identify major theories and points of view in each subject they study
3. Technologically literate people who can:
a. Research, analyze data, problem-solve, and communicate using appropriate technology
b. Transfer skills to emerging technologies
