The Laramie Project
Aragon High School Performing Arts proudly presents The Laramie Project, a play by Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project about the reaction to the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, a gay University of Wyoming student. This thoughtful and moving show takes the form of a series of juxtaposed monologues masterfully woven together. It focuses primarily on the community’s response to the crime, presenting thoughts and opinions of Laramie, Wyoming residents from across the political spectrum.
The Laramie Project runs Thursday-Saturday, 3/21-23 at 7pm; Sunday, 3/24 at 2pm. Online ticket prices are $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for students and seniors. Tickets are available through www.aragondrama.com. Tickets will be sold at the theater for $17 for adults, and $10 for students and seniors. In addition, there will be a preview performance on Wednesday, 3/20 at 7pm (general admission tickets sold at the door only for $8.00). For more information, please email info@aragondrama.com.
